When a daughter tries to escape the same fate as her mother, her father wants to protect her from the very evil he himself embodies. As Else Lena sings, she takes on the roles of the different family members and their perspectives. A combination of framing, movement and dance gives the viewer an impression of the vicious cycle of generational trauma and the act of breaking free from it.
